The journey began on December 16, when the team arrived at their 4-star hotel where they would stay during their time in Spain. The hotel, located near the heart of Valencia, offered a comfortable and modern setting for the young players. After settling into their rooms, the group gathered for a meal together, giving them a chance to relax and recharge before the upcoming training sessions.
In the afternoon, the players had the opportunity to explore Valencia, a city known for its futuristic architecture and rich historical heritage. With their staff, the young players strolled through the city center, discovered the City of Arts and Sciences, and became more familiar with the local culture. The friendly atmosphere helped strengthen the bonds within the group, providing a perfect start to the trip.

After a solid training session, the players enjoyed a meal at the hotel before heading to the Villarreal training center. This state-of-the-art facility, where several first-team players train, offered the perfect setting to prepare for the upcoming challenge. The players had the chance to experience the high-level facilities, further boosting their motivation for the game.
December 18: The Match Against Villarreal
The big moment finally arrived. The match kicked off under a clear blue sky, and the atmosphere was electric. From the start, the RCR team displayed excellent control over the game, with dominance on the right side being a key feature during the first half. A brilliant goal from Brandon, following a perfect assist from Jérémy, opened the scoring. This beautifully executed team play showcased the cohesion of the RCR squad.
Kevin, outstanding on the right side, proved to be a nightmare for the opposing defense. Meanwhile, RCR's goalkeeper Alexy hardly had any work to do, as his team was solid in defense. The midfield, led by Milhane, controlled the game with Max Ros and Terrence providing energy, while Didier and Anis were flawless in central defense, thwarting any attacks from the opposition.
Villarreal dominated possession, but their attacking efforts were well-contained by a strong RCR defense and tactical discipline. The RCR forwards were also dangerous, creating several opportunities, although Villarreal held the ball for long periods.
In the second half, Milhane electrified the crowd with a stunning 30-meter shot, making it 2-0 and likely sealing the result. Several substitutions followed, with Michel, Bilel, and Anis coming on, injecting fresh energy into the team. Villarreal pulled one back with a long-range shot, but Alexy made a phenomenal save with his opposite hand to keep the lead intact. Nevertheless, 10 min before the end of the game, the local team scored : 1-2 !
The stressful match ended with a well-deserved victory for RCR, and the players left the field with their heads held high after an outstanding collective performance.
