Manchester United U9, U10, U11 & U12 Summer Tournaments for RC Rouen !
Tournament Dates and Formats !
In August 2025, Racing Club de Rouen had the privilege of taking part in a series of prestigious youth tournaments hosted at the Manchester United Academy Training Center. Four different age categories were represented, each competing in their own format:
- U9 – August 19 (5v5)
- U11 – August 21 (9v9)
- U10 – August 26 (6v6)
- U12 – August 28 (9v9)
It was an incredible opportunity for our young players to gain experience in a world-class football environment.
Opposition and Results !
Across the tournaments, Racing Club de Rouen faced a lineup of renowned academies: Manchester United, Middlesbrough, Burnley, Dundee United, Wolverhampton, Wrexham, Sunderland, Blackburn, and Swansea.
The level of competition was extremely high, and every game pushed our players to their limits. The U10 team delivered the best result of the month, reaching the semi-final after an excellent group stage, before falling just short against Wolves.
For the U9, U11, and U12 squads, the tournaments ended at the group stage, with tough defeats against top academies. Despite the results, the experience was invaluable, offering our players the chance to measure themselves against some of the strongest youth setups in Europe.
Standout Players !
Among all the talent on display, five players particularly stood out for their performances and consistency throughout the tournaments: Clovis, Sajid, Livan, Messi, and Ismael. Each of them made a significant impact on the pitch, whether through goals, defensive efforts, creativity, or leadership, and their contribution was a key part of Rouen’s journey in Manchester.
Activities Around the Tournament !
Beyond the football itself, the trip to Manchester was also a cultural and social adventure. The players and staff enjoyed time together at restaurants, explored the city, and took part in photo sessions around some of the most iconic football landmarks in the world — Old Trafford and the Etihad Stadium. These moments created unforgettable memories for the boys and strengthened the bond within the group.
