Borussia Dortmund & Arminia Bielefeld : First international event for VYRA ACADEMY in Germany !

For its very first international event, VYRA ACADEMY, a football academy dedicated to women's football, had the honour of being invited by Tobias, coach of Borussia Dortmund women's U19 team. On June 18, 2025, the players took part in an intensive two-hour training session in Dortmund, led personally by Tobias. The coach was impressed by several profiles and even invited some of the players to return in September for pre season-trial.

A Tour of the Stadium and Museum !

During their stay, the VYRA ACADEMY players also had the unique opportunity to visit Signal Iduna Park, the iconic home of Borussia Dortmund. The team explored the stadium's legendary stands, locker rooms, and tunnel, soaking in the atmosphere of one of Europe’s most famous football venues. The visit continued at the Borussia Dortmund Museum, where the players learned more about the club’s rich history, legendary players, and major achievements. This inspiring experience left a lasting impression on the young athletes, reinforcing their passion and ambition for the game.

A Competitive Match Against Arminia Bielefeld !

The following day marked another milestone : VYRA ACADEMY's first official match on German soil! Facing the women's youth teams of Arminia Bielefeld, a partner club of Borussia Dortmund, the players delivered a thrilling 11-a-side match. Despite a challenging first half (1–0 for Bielefeld), VYRA ACADEMY took control in the second half and secured a 2–1 victory, thanks to goals from Silvina and Anaïs.

A Follow-Up in September Already Scheduled !

This is just the beginning ! Some of the players will have the opportunity to return to Dortmund in September for further training sessions and a match against Borussia Dortmund’s U17 and U19 teams.
